There aren’t enough superlatives to do justice to the Argentine footballer who wore this jersey. Considered by many to be the best in the world, forward Lionel Messi wore this Argentina National Team jersey during a 3-0 setback at the hands of Brazil during the November 10, 2016 World Cup Qualifying match at Mineirão Stadium in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The micromesh/spandex-blend pullover garment features a powder-blue and white vertical stripe pattern with the Argentina National Team crest sewn to the left breast. The number “10” is displayed on the front and back in black applique, while “MESSI” is applied atop the back number in like fashion. The left and right sleeves are respectively decorated with “FIFA” and “RUSSIA 2018 QUALIFIERS” applique logo patches. Within the black stretch ribbed knit collar, an applique “Adidas” logo is accompanied by a size “6” identifier. All original and unaltered, the item shows appropriate single event wear and has a fabric content tag within the left side seam. Accompanying is an LOA from the son of the Brazilian National Team Shirts manager.
