Heralded for his exploits with both the Barcelona and Napoli clubs, as well as for a 34-goal International career with the Argentina National Team, iconic attacking midfielder Diego Maradona had two separate tours of duty with the Boca Juniors in the Argentine Primera División. During the latter tenure, Maradona wore this 1995 Boca Junior home jersey at Buenos Aires' famed Estadio Alberto J. Armando. The blue satin-like pullover garment features “10” sewn to the back in white block-style numerals. The left breast is home to a “CABJ” (Club Atlético Boca Juniors) logo badge, while “Quilmes” Argentine brewery logos adorn the gold-colored horizontal torso stripe and upper back. Within the 2-1/2”-wide gold-blue-and-white striped stretch knit collar, an “Olan” label is accompanied by a size “42” flap tag. Of note is the club’s short run of “Olan” apparel, as a lengthy run with Adidas preceded and, following 1996, Nike has provided the team’s jerseys. Light wear is evident. Accompanying is an LOA from the sister of an ex-Brazilian player, who was given this jersey directly from Maradona.
